Hello, my prayer for you today is that God would bless you from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

 My name is John, and I run this store. I am nobody special, I am just a sinner saved by grace. I have heard it said that a man is not complete unless he has both walked with God, and danced with the devil. Unfortunately, when I was young and stupid, I did a lot of dancing with the devil. I will not give satan any glory by going into the details, but he left me helpless, hopeless, and homeless. It is only by the grace of God that I am here today. I truly believe that God allowed the enemy to use me unknowingly to bring me closer to Him.

 I am a recovered alcoholic. I know that some of you are saying that I will always be an alcoholic, but God says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." I can choose to believe what man says about me, or I can choose to believe what God says about me. I choose to believe what God says about me. 

 Our Lord led me to ChristTown Ministries, a faith based drug and alcohol recovery center. It was there that I started my walk with God, and I was  actively involved with the ministry for 13 years. I want to thank our Lord for calling Pastor Bob Wells into ministry, and thank him for being obedient to that call. I would not be sober today had it not been for all of the wonderful councilors and people that I had the pleasure of associating with there. I would like to give a special shout out to Miss Laura Wells. Thank you so much for not giving up on me.  This brief testimony leads me to why I have opened this store. In Jeremiah 29:11 God says, "For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". Due to the consequences of my past decisions choosing to dance with the devil, I do not have a retirement plan that I can rely upon. I truly believe that our Lord will use this store as my retirement plan. 

 In Matthew 28:19(a) our Lord says, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations". Wearing just one of the t-shirts in my store will help to do just that! I would like to thank you for your interest in my store. Have a blessed day!
